My Approach to helping you
I am a psychotherapist and counsellor accredited with IAHIP. I offer a safe and non-judgemental therapeutic space where you can work with issues such as anxiety, self-esteem, loneliness, or simply the feeling that something is missing. I support you to develop greater awareness around thoughts and emotions.
I help you to explore relational dynamics that may not be working for you and to look at core beliefs that are holding you back. I put you at the centre of your healing journey, helping you to heal from past trauma and to gain a sense of healing, joy and empowerment in your life.

Your needs are at the centre of your healing journey. I aim to support you to go at the pace which is right for you. I check in regularly to see what you are needing in each therapy session to ensure you are supported throughout.

I am Kelly Ballantine and I am accredited Psychotherapist with a Masters in Humanistic Psychotherapy, based in Limerick City.
Humanistic Psychotherapy is a mode of therapy that puts the person at the centre of his or her own growth and healing. Rather than just managing symptoms, humanistic therapy focuses on the importance of you as an individual with the capacity for growth and healing.
I facilitate you to heal and recover from trauma and other setbacks by creating a warm and compassionate space where you can receive empathy and support, and are assisted to explore topics freely in a safe and non-judgemental environment.
I also work with you in the here and now present moment to help you to bring your attention into what is happening in your body. This allows you to move into a deeper level of awareness, to identify your needs and to resolve trauma and unprocessed emotions. I am a member of Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy and fully abide by IAHIP codeof ethics. I offer face to face consultations in addition to virtual consultations as required.
